Nomyst

So this is the Nomyst gang trying to fix time starting with the infamous painting by Leonardo DaVinci "The Last Supper." In this "The Last Sinner" Tommers reveals "everyone here will betray me, but that is just part of the plan." I had made this part of the board with paint marker for the trim, the stars and the outlines. I coloured (from left to right) Gynx, Cerana, Tommers, Chammy and Chance with watercolour and used a stencil with different levels of spray paint for the background. The drips coming down the sides melting everything into Nomyst territory are stencilled with black spray paint and yellow paint marker is drawn over top. The pink and continued Aurora Borealis is made with watercolour, while Nomyst is made with another stencil. The paint marker image at the top of the board follows your heart beat down to your DNA, allowing you to see through the cage. The back of the board has grip tape cut into the shapes of house shingles showing that it is safe for you to feel at home here.
Finding the vinears and pressing the board was the easy part! Wood working and sanding the sides was fairly difficult for my first time, especially making sure to not mess up the shape as none of the vinears matched up. I will need to be more careful with this process in the future. I would also need to smooth down the graffic side more if I am going to draw with paint marker again. The drip stencil was the longest process as it was very fine detail. I would definitely need to be more delicate with making my stencils in the future because I had scratched and nicked the board fairly deep in a few spots. Learning to keep the paint in one place is a major priority as there is paint splattered across the board. I used a piece of paper cut into a shingle shape and drew it on the back of grip tape to have identical dimensions. I will need to learn how to cut out grip tape more precisely and find a way to have the endless fit the board.
